A tugboat or tug is a marine vessel that manoeuvres other vessels by pushing or pulling them, with direct contact or a tow line. These boats typically tug ships that cannot move well on their own, such as those in crowded harbours or narrow canals, or those that cannot move at all, such as barges, disabled ships, log rafts, or oil platforms. The tugboat, for its size, is the most powerful craft afloat.

Tugboat Tygo needs to equipped with an automatic
extinguishing system. For smaller works boats such
as the tygo weight and size do matter.
The engine compartment was equipped with an old
extinguishing system what needed replacement.
Tygo had 1 day in harbour, so a quick installation was
needed. AF-X Firebocker is a plug and play system.
Easy installation and not harmful
The AF-X System is electrically controlled. This means that you can install and commission the system with an E-installation engineer. No separate company is required for this. The AF-X Fireblocker uses a dry aerosol. A dry aerosol extinguishes the fire quickly and effectively and is not harmful. Existing fire extinguishing systems work under pressure, require specialist installation and requires relatively a lot of maintenance. An AF-X Fireblocker is pressureless, compact, electrically controlled and almost maintenance-free.
